Victory Christian Academy participates in four
scholarship programs.
- McKay
Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
The McKay scholarship is for students who are
currently in a public school and have an active I.E.P.
(Individual Education Plan). They must have been
diagnosed with a learning disability. Parents can choose
another public school or a participating private school
to enroll their child. The scholarship will pay for
tuition, transportation, curriculum, tutoring, uniforms,
etc. The first step is to file an "Intent to
Participate" with the Department of Education. For more
information go to
http://www.floridaschoolchoice.org/Information/McKay or call the Info Hotline
at 800-447-1636 or 850-245-0502.
- Children First Florida Scholarship Fund
The Children First Florida Scholarship is funded by corporate
donations and available to families on the basis of
their income. The Florida Legislature allows
corporations to receive a tax credit on donations made
to a scholarship fund. The scholarship will pay for
tuition and curriculum. For an application, go to
www.scholarshipfunding.org
or call 904-247-6033.
- Early Education & Care
Vouchers
Low income families who have preschool children may
be eligible to receive the School Readiness voucher.
This would pay for tuition and curriculum. For more
information, go to
www.eeckids.org or call the Marianna office at
850-482-9140.
